Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 13, 2026

MSP Storytellers ("MSP Storytellers," "we," "us," or "our") produces video content and marketing programs for managed service providers (MSPs). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit mspstorytellers.com (the "Site"), book a call with us, or work with us, how we use it, and the choices you have.

1. Information we collect

Information you give us. When you book a strategy call, fill out a form, email us, or sign up for our emails, we may collect your name, email address, phone number, company name, website, job title, and anything else you choose to share, such as notes about your business or your marketing goals.

Information collected automatically. When you visit the Site, we and our service providers may automatically collect your IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, referring page, the pages you view, the links you click, the date and time of your visit, and similar usage data. We collect this through cookies, pixels, and similar technologies (see Section 5).

Information from clients during a program. If your company hires us, we collect the business information we need to do the work, such as contact details for your team, your brand assets, interview recordings, and footage captured on shoot days. Video and audio recordings of you or your team are made only with your knowledge and consent.

2. How we use your information

  • To schedule and run your strategy call and respond to your questions.
  • To deliver our services, including planning, filming, editing, and running video and ad programs.
  • To send you emails, texts, or calls about our services, content ideas, and offers, where you have agreed to receive them.
  • To operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Site and our services.
  • To understand how visitors use the Site and measure the performance of our marketing.
  • To comply with the law, enforce our terms, and protect our rights and the rights of others.

3. Text messaging (SMS) consent

If you provide your mobile number and opt in, we may send you text messages about appointment reminders, follow-ups to your inquiry, and occasional offers. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. Reply HELP for help, or email [email protected].

No third-party marketing use of mobile information. Mobile phone numbers and SMS opt-in consent collected for text messaging will not be shared with or sold to third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. We share this information only with the service providers who send messages on our behalf.

4. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only in these cases:

  • Service providers. Companies that help us run the Site and our business, such as our website and CRM platform, email and text messaging providers, scheduling tools, video hosting, analytics, advertising platforms, payment processors, and file storage. They may use your information only to provide services to us.
  • Freelance crew and editors. If you are a client, members of our production team may receive the contact details and materials they need to do their part of your project. They are bound by confidentiality.
  • Legal reasons. If required by law, subpoena, or court order, or to protect the safety, rights, or property of MSP Storytellers, our clients, or others.
  • Business transfers. If we merge, sell, or transfer all or part of our business, your information may be transferred as part of that deal.
  • With your consent. For example, when you agree to appear in a testimonial or case study.

5. Cookies, analytics, and advertising

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep the Site working, remember your preferences, understand traffic, and measure our marketing. We may use tools such as Google Analytics, Google Ads, Meta (Facebook and Instagram), LinkedIn, and YouTube. These providers may set their own cookies and collect information about your visits to this and other websites to show you relevant ads. Embedded YouTube videos are subject to Google's Privacy Policy.

You can control cookies through your browser settings. You can opt out of Google Analytics with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on, and manage ad preferences at aboutads.info. Turning off cookies may limit some features of the Site.

6. Email marketing

If you give us your email address, we may send you marketing emails. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link. You can also unsubscribe by emailing [email protected]. We will still send you service emails about an active project or appointment.

7. Video, photos, and testimonials

Our work involves recording people. We record interviews, b-roll, and events only with the knowledge and consent of the people involved and of the client who hired us. Finished videos may appear on the client's website, social channels, and ads, and, with the client's permission, in our portfolio and marketing. If you appear in a video and want to discuss its use, contact us.

8. Data retention

We keep personal information for as long as we need it for the purposes above, to meet legal, tax, and accounting requirements, and to resolve disputes. Project footage and deliverables are kept according to the client's agreement. You may ask us to delete your information (see Section 10).

9. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. To make a request, email [email protected]. We will verify your identity and respond within the time required by law. We will not treat you differently for exercising your rights.

California residents may have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to know what personal information we collect, the right to delete it, and the right to opt out of its sale or sharing. We do not sell personal information and do not knowingly share it for cross-context behavioral advertising beyond the advertising tools described in Section 5.

11. Children

The Site and our services are for businesses and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

12. Third-party links

The Site may link to other websites and services, including YouTube, LinkedIn, and scheduling tools. We are not responsible for their privacy practices. Please review their policies.

13. Users outside the United States

We are based in the United States and process information here. If you visit from outside the U.S., you understand that your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those in your country.

14. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the new version here and update the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Site after a change means you accept the updated policy.

Terms of Service

Effective date: October 13, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of mspstorytellers.com (the "Site") and any strategy call, content, or communication you receive from MSP Storytellers through the Site. By using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

Client work is governed by a separate agreement. If your company hires MSP Storytellers for a video or marketing program (for example, the 90-Day Growth Content Accelerator), the proposal, statement of work, or services agreement you sign controls that engagement. If those documents conflict with these Terms, the signed agreement wins.

1. Who we are

MSP Storytellers is a video production and marketing studio based in Warren, Rhode Island, that works exclusively with managed service providers and IT companies.

2. Use of the Site

You may use the Site for lawful purposes only. You agree not to:

  • Copy, scrape, or republish Site content without our written permission.
  • Interfere with the Site's operation or security, or attempt to access areas you are not authorized to use.
  • Submit false information through our forms, or submit information on behalf of someone without their permission.
  • Use the Site to send spam or unsolicited commercial messages.

3. Strategy calls and free content

Our free strategy call and any content ideas, audits, scores, or advice we share before you hire us are provided for general information. They are our professional opinion, not a guarantee. You are free to use the ideas whether or not you work with us. We may decline to schedule a call with any business at our discretion.

4. No guarantee of results

Marketing results depend on many factors outside our control, including your market, your sales process, your offer, your ad budget, and the platforms that distribute content. Any examples, testimonials, or case studies on the Site describe specific clients' experiences and are not a promise that you will get the same results.

5. Intellectual property

The Site and its content, including text, graphics, logos, videos, reels, and the "MSP Storytellers" name and "The Film Crew That Gets IT" tagline, are owned by MSP Storytellers or used with permission and are protected by copyright and trademark law. Client videos shown on the Site belong to the respective clients or to MSP Storytellers under the terms of each engagement and are displayed with permission. You may view and share links to our content, but you may not download, copy, modify, or use it commercially without written permission.

6. Testimonials and submissions

If you send us a testimonial, review, comment, idea, or other material through the Site or by email, you give us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual license to use, edit, and display it in our marketing, and you confirm that you have the right to grant that license. We may edit for length and clarity without changing the meaning.

7. Communications

By submitting a form on the Site, you agree that we may contact you by email, phone, or text about your inquiry and our services. You may opt out of marketing messages at any time as described in our Privacy Policy. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of buying anything from us.

8. Third-party services

The Site uses third-party services such as YouTube for video, scheduling tools for bookings, and a website and CRM platform for forms and messages. Your use of those services is subject to their own terms. We are not responsible for third-party sites or services linked from the Site.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

The Site is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, MSP Storytellers and its owners, partners, employees, and contractors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Site or reliance on its content. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Site will not exceed one hundred U.S. dollars ($100). Liability for client engagements is addressed in the applicable signed agreement.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless MSP Storytellers and its owners, partners, employees, and contractors from any claims, losses, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising from your misuse of the Site, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.

12. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Rhode Island, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute relating to the Site or these Terms will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Rhode Island, and you consent to their jurisdiction. Before filing any claim, you agree to contact us first and make a good-faith effort to resolve the issue informally.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version will always be posted on this page with its effective date. Your continued use of the Site after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

14. General

If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any signed agreement, are the entire agreement between you and MSP Storytellers regarding the Site.
